Today we had two wonderful treats in one day! Boy were we lucky!
The fun started this afternoon when we had a visit with two-thirds of the Bergman clan. Rajean brought Dallas over to meet us! He is such a cute little guy. I am about 100% sure that he is going to be a football player! Rajean's pictures on her blog don't do his size justice. He was a little fussy when they got here, but Rajean fed him and he was as happy as a lark after that. It was great to finally get to meet the little guy in person, but it is still hard to believe my friend Rajean is a Mom!
We got our second treat tonight when Bill and Jennie took us out to thank us for watching their kids for a week while they were in Vegas. Actually they brought me back a necklace and bracelet from the trip to thank me, but decided to take Jacob out since he is so hard to shop for, and I got to enjoy it too! I wasn't about to complain! They took us to a new restaurant in Indy called Fogo de Chao. It is a Brazilian Steakhouse and different than any restuarant I've ever been to. If you like meat, it is the place for you! You start with salad, then comes the meat course. The side dishes are in the middle of the table family-style, each person has a card at their seat that has a red and green side. All of these servers (they call them gauchos) walk around the dining room with skewers of meat and knives asking people that have their green side up if they want the type of meat they have (whether it is filet, bacon wrapped chicken, sausage, lamb, etc). They cut it off of the skewer and put it right on your plate. They keep the meat coming until you turn your card over to the red side, you eat, and then the meat madness begins. I seriously think they had a server for every person eating there. It really is an experience you can't even believe until you see it! We had dessert, molten chocolate cake with ice cream, and the walked around Monument Circle. A good time was had by all, not to mention a lot of meat eaten!
I know catching up on my homework tomorrow, is not going to be nearly as fun!

We were very excited for you to meet Dallas as well. I can't believe I didn't get a picture! I guess, I was too concerned with other things. Sounds like a great dinner you had...Doug loves those types of resturants ~ he went to one while in Brazil. Talk to you later!
