Busy, Busy Bees...

That's what I've felt like for the past few weeks. I'm sorry its been so long since my last post, but I just haven't gotten around to sitting down at the computer! Anyway, enough with the excuses. Here's a recap of what's been going on with KP since my last post:

**We went to the Athletic Club, became members, and started a summer workout regimen. Let's hope that we can knock-out a few pounds before school starts again. Jacob loves to work out, and he has to keep me accountable and pumped up about it. Hopefully I'll see some results soon, that would definitely keep me dedicated to the eliptical.

**Jacob's cousin Crystal got married. Jacob was an usher, and he, Ben, and Leah played and sang a song during the ceremony that sounded great. We hope she and Jeremy are very happy together. It was a beautiful pink and black affair that she has had planned since she was a kid, and other than the torrential rainfall that day, came off without a hitch.

**I went to a reading teachers conference in Indianapolis on Monday and Tuesday.

**We taught Vacation Bible School at church all last week. We had about 10-13 third graders every night. The kids always have a blast. But, it is a lot of work for the teachers and I was definitely ready for the last night Friday.

**We house/babysat for Bill and Jennie all week. They have three kids ages 14-2 and needless to say, we jumped head first into temporary parenthood. There was never a dull moment and we learned lots of things that we would and wouldn't do with our own kids!

**Sunday we got home from sitting and had the VBS program at church, and celebrated Father's Day with Jay at lunch and with my Dad at dinner.

**Today we unpacked, did laundry, worked out (yes, a week later, and I haven't quit yet!), and grocery shopping (since we weren't home all week-we had NO food). And the grand finale for the day-my masters classes started. Tomorrow I get to delve into all of the readings and reflections, and assignments for the week. I can hardly wait!

I love the elliptical! What's really amazing is that you can go miles on the elliptical and get a really good cardio workout but you don't have to deal with the stress on your joints or muscles as much. And I've found that since getting older, the muscles cramp easier and the joints ache more!
