Homework, House Shopping, and more Homework

...those are my excuses as to why I've been such a terrible blogger lately. Serously, that is about all that has been happening around here for the past few weeks.

I have one more week left (and three more projects to turn in) before my summer classes are over. I will be so happy when I get these projects done and turned in. It seems like I spend all my time in front of the computer, and don't get to do anything fun like check blogs! But after next Friday, I promise to be a better blogger.

Jacob started his master's classes two weeks ago. Computer time is prime around here, it seems like it just gets passed from one person to the other, and the other reads a text book or something until it is their turn on the computer again. Jacob is supposed to get a new free laptop when he gets the new textbooks they ordered this year (one of the few "perks" to being a teacher besides the molding of tomorrow's leaders mumbo jumbo). Then we'll have two computers. Woo hoo!

We have looked at about a million houses in the last month. Hopefully something good will happen on the housefront soon. I know I should be patient and know it will happen at the right time, but we have lived in this apartment now for two years and I am ready to get out!

In other news, we've been to two more weddings since my last post. Raymond Nay (one of Jacob's former baseball players when he was coaching at SW) got married one weekend, and then the next weekend another teacher at Waldron, A.J., got married (Melissa-we missed you and Chris there!). I think we've been to five already this summer, but luckily don't have another until my cousin Beth's in August and then Ben and Ashley's in September. Both summer baseball leagues finished up last week. We spent almost a week sleeping at my parents with their dog-who is spoiled rotten, and then on the fourth of July we went to Greenfield to Jacob's grandma's house (she lives in a great firework-watching location). Other than that we've just been doing homework and house shopping!

It sure sounds like you have been busy! I keep saying my prayers for you that you will find the house of your dreams. Best of luck with the last week of class. I know you will get those projects completed with time to spare!

So where about is it you wanna move? There is a huge house (like 4.2 mill) by your grandparents... I'm sure two teachers could afford it! :) Best of luck in the house shopping department... I can already imagine one already "Kristen-ified"!
