I Survived!

I indeed survived my projects due for my masters classes last week and passed with flying colors. I now have two very stimulating presentations, one on gifted students with Asperger's and one on the "overexcitabilities" in high ability students. If you ever need one let me know! What a relief to be done! I actually got done a few days early, but have not had any desire to type anything on the computer until now! I have a few weeks to recover before school and the next masters class begins.

Since getting finished with the classes, I have been trying to relax, but am starting to find my mind wandering towards thinking about school more. Jacob, my mom, and I even went to Morristown to start work on my room today. They were a great help. I is amazing how much time it takes to get ready for each new year! Can you believe there are only two and a half weeks left before school starts?! Hopefully I'll have some pictures for you when the room is finally ready for kiddos.

Other than schoolwork we've been catching up on doctor's and dentist appointments, did a little shopping yesterday afternoon, and I've been trying to leave Jacob alone and let him get his homework done since his classes are still going on. Friday we are planning to go to Holiday World with my younger cousins, so we're hoping it doesn't rain. Whatever you are up to, have a great rest of the week!

Congrats on surviving! I'm glad you are trying to relax now. Don't you just wish you could store up the energy now to use it in a few weeks when school starts back up? Have fun at Holiday World! Take your sunscreen...oh wait, it's me that always needs to load up on sunscreen...

Holiday World was good. It is a nice, clean park really geared towards families. It is quite a bit smaller than King's Island and I think has more rides geared toward smaller children (they only have three roller coasters), but have a really big waterpark. I think one of the best parts is the free soft drinks, you save alot of money not having to buy drinks all day!
