When it Rains it Pours

Rain, rain, and more rain. That's all we're getting around here for now and are supposed to get all night. We were hoping for some snow for that ever-popular delay tomorrow, but I don't think it is goint to be cold enough for that to happen.

Speaking of raining, it seems like it has rained things to do around here. We have a jam packed week of commitments ahead. Starting with tonight. Some friends of ours, Bill and Jenny, asked if we could watch their two youngest sons, Matty and Quentin (ages 6 and 2 respectively) for a few hours while they went to a meeting at school with their oldest son. It was an interesting way to spend the evening to say the least. Jacob got in a few rounds on the Wii with Matty and I think Quentin got more soup on his shirt than in his mouth, it was a learning experience nonetheless, and now we are finally home to relax until tomorrow! Until then stay dry!

Trying your hand at the baby sitting? Is that like a test run to see if you are ready for children? Doug and I sure did miss that seminar!!! I'm so not looking forward to the spring rains...this melting snow if making a big enough mess of things. Can you believe some of the rivers are actually at flood stage? Just from the snow melting! Oh, well. Have a fun-filled week!

Oh, I forgot...thanks for the card! That was really sweet of you...it even made me cry (but I mostly blame it on the hormones!)
