Finally, we have some snow accumulation! Yesterday the snow started at about 9 AM, and our superintendent decided we would go home early. I put the kids on the bus at 1:00 and left for a few extra hours at home. Yea! The roads really weren't bad yesterday afternoon and even last night (we went to the grocery store), but the snow continued through the night and we woke up this morning to about 5 inches of snow. At the moment it is still falling lightly, but this should be the end of it. It's not much, but it is more than we have got all winter so we were pretty excited about it.
We were going to go to the regional game at Martinsville this morning, but if the Mohawks win they are supposed to play again tonight, and what are you going to do all day long in Martinsville? So we'll listen to it this morning on the radio and make the call about whether we will go tonight later.
Well, I have report cards to do, and I can't wait to clean the bathroom (just kidding!) so have a great Saturday!
