Happy Easter! Or at least by the time you are reading this, I hope you had a Happy Easter. We had a great, but busy day. This morning Jacob sang in the choir for the Easter Cantata at church. My whole family came to watch him. (How supportive of them!) and I must say he did a wonderful job on his solo, even though I may be a bit biased. One lady even came up an pinched his cheeks and told him how much he had grown up over the years. Now, I've seen people do this to little kids in movies before, but I didn't think anyone did it in real life, or to grownups nonetheless. My sister and I got a chuckle out of that one for sure!
We went to my grandparent's house for Easter dinner, and then to my parent's to watch the rest of the depressing Butler game. Those boys stuck in it until the end and didn't give up, but came up a few points short at the end of overtime, but I was still proud. The little Bulldogs against those big, bad Volunteers didn't turn out the way I had hoped, but I still love 'em! As the song says, "Bulldogs ever do or die!"
We went to eat pizza with the fam before Laura headed back for college and we headed back to the APT. Have a great week! Only five more days until Spring Break!
