Yes, it is Monday and I know that the weekend was over an entire day ago, but this is the first chance I've gotten to sit down and actually recap it all for you.
Friday night- We went to Cincinnati to watch the Reds take on the Cleveland Indians. Jacob's former principal called and said he had some free tickets to the game, so we took him up on it and enjoyed a night at the ballpark. We had a great time, the weather was fab-u-lous, and I actually got to sit with my husband at a game (that hardly every happens). The only downfall of the evening were the four idots sitting behind us that insisted on using at least one four letter word in every sentence and knew everything under the sun about baseball, but, oh well, it was still nice to do something out of the ordinary.
Saturday-was jam packed full of activities. Jacob had a doubleheader and hour and a half away so he left early in the morning to get to the game. I met my parents to go to wedding #1 of the summer: Morgan and Aaron. I went to the wedding with the fam, and then of course the reception for awhile. Jacob got home early from the game (one of the perks of getting pummeled-the game gets over faster) and he picked me up to go for our next scheduled event, a babysitting gig. We babysat for Matty and Quentin until 12:30 and finally came home and got to bed by 1 a.m. I am getting too old for this!
Sunday-I got to watch a stimulating video before church about preventing child abuse so we can teach at VBS in few weeks, we did the whole church and lunch thing, finally got our grocery shopping done, worked on my lesson plans, and then headed out again to my parents' to pick up my car and eat dinner with them and Laura (who was home for the wedding).
Tonight I'm going to enjoy an evening at home and try to knock a few more things off of my to-do list. Have a great week!

You did have a busy weekend. Doug is very jealous that you went to a Reds game. It's his favorite team, you know. Not too much school left...how is that end of the year checklist coming? Best of luck with the VBS; our church is going to try VBS for the first time this year. I hope it turns out well. I've had to watch those child prevention tapes as well in order to teach religious ed. Very well directed...don't you think!
Have a great week!
Morgan.. Thomas?! Didn't you take any pictures?!?!
Rajean- those videos are a blast aren't they. The production is amazing! I'm sorry Doug is jealous about the game, maybe sometime when you're around town we could all go.
Missy-yes it was Morgan Thomas. I didn't take any pictures, we were way to far back to see anything. But I know if you were there you would have been snapping away!
