Field Trip Friday

Today was a great first grade adventure. We took two buses full of first graders and their parents to the Children's Museum in Indianapolis. I wasn't sure how the trip would be with so many parents going (every child had a parent or grandparent going with them). Sometimes it's great to have lots of help, and sometimes it just creates more issues, because some parents are worse about following the rules than their kids! But today was a great day. We got everyone there and back safely, saw some interested things, we and only managed to lose one grandma temporarily! That's a success in my book. One more day down, only 11 school days left!

Sounds like you had a fun trip. I can't believe that many parents/grandparents volunteered to go along! You have to be careful about those grandma's...they have a tendency to wonder off and not follow rules. Some think they have lived long enough to do what ever they feel like! Have fun with your last 11 days!!!
