Seven Months

Baby Owen is seven months (and a few days) old! The last month seems to have flown by even faster than the last. I suppose that is what we are in for from now on. Here are the highlights from the past month:

**Owen still loves going to the babysitter. He get so excited when we get there each morning. It is wonderful that he loves it so much!

Some mornings we're ready to go!

Sometimes we've gotta get a nap in before all the fun begins!

**Some of his other favorite things include "playing" on the computer (or trying to get the little lights), jumping in his bouncer, and practicing sitting up.

**Fruits have emerged as his favorite foods. He loves pears, peaches, apples, blueberries, and prunes. He could eat them all day, in any combination. Unfortunately, you can hardly get a vegetable past him. Whoever said that your kids would eat vegetables better if you introduce them first hasn't met Owen.
**He had a great first Valentines Day. He sent valentines to his grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, and uncles. He even got some valentines from a few of the other kids at the babysitter's.**He's really gotten into his tongue. He went through a phase for about a week, where he was making funny faces all of the time.
**He's getting to be a great sitter. He can sit by himself for a long time, but will still topple over if he leans too far.
**He still wants and grabs for everything. He's recently started holding his hands out and reaching for Jacob and me.
