Everything went great at the doctor, heart rate and measurements were great, and we both got a clean bill of health! I'm always relieved to get good news from the doctor. We've started looking for names, and I think we need to start baby furniture shopping soon. Baby-fever has definitely taken over our house. In the last week or two I have become really visibly pregnant. None of my pants fit, and my wardrobe choices are more limited each day. (If only I could wear sweatpants and sweatshirts to school everyday!) The kids at school noticed how big I was getting and are very excited. They all have their own votes on what the name should be, some more hilarious than others.
Sorry I don't have any belly pictures. I'm not sure how comfortable I am having pictures of my big stomach on the internet for all to see. A few weeks ago I went shopping for a swimsuit for spring break, and that was disturbing enough! Maybe you'll get some pictures after we go on vacation. Without further adieu...enjoy these first glimpses of Baby Boy Shively!

Congratulations Momma!! A baby boy! I bet you all are so excited! I can't wait to see pictures of your growing belly (you have to.. it's the law!) and then to hear all about him as he changes your life for the better! Although.. I do wanna hear some of those names your kids came up with... I can only imagine! :)

Yea! A baby boy! I'm glad all went well with the ultrasound. I too would like to hear some of the names your kiddos came up with. I'm sure they are hilarious.
I understand you not posting pictures of your growing belly...everyone has different feelings about it. I just hope that you have take a few pictures of the changes along the way so that (1) you can remember it and (2) Baby Boy can see them some day.
